We are postponing tonight’s event and will reschedule for a later date. There may be time for conversations about audio and creative inspiration in the future; right now, we believe the focus should be on conversations about race and inequality in America. All attendees will receive a full refund today. Please email us at info@podcastgarage.org if you have any questions.
Amazing creators sharing cool things they love...
Five Things invites some of today’s most talented and successful producers, artists, writers and thinkers to share five things – audio, visuals, books, objects or something else entirely – that have shaped their creative practice over time. Or that inform how they approach their work now. Or, simply enough, that they dig, and want to share with you.
Five Things is an ongoing series at the Podcast Garage hosted by Radiotopia's Julie Shapiro. We're joined this month by iO Tillett Wright - activist, speaker, host, photographer, writer. and host of the podcast The Ballad of Billy Balls.
Tickets are $10 and 25% of all proceeds will go to Queer Covid Relief, which provides direct cash support to queer people in need, with a focus on low income trans, POC, elders and families with children. We will send you instructions on how to join us beforehand.
