Starting tomorrow, Saturday, March 14, we are closing our PRX Podcast Garage locations in Boston and Washington D.C. and, as soon as possible, transitioning to online workshops and gatherings. Our spaces will be closed through the end of March, with a plan to reassess at that time and reopen once it is safe to do so.  We are postponing this workshop. We will issue full refunds to all participants and share the new date once it’s rescheduled. Our team at PRX is closely monitoring COVID-19 in Boston and D.C. As public spaces, we take our role in supporting community health seriously. We are sure you have questions about how this might impact your ability to record, learn, and gather with us. We had over 1,000 people record here at the Garage in 2019 and are here to help open the doors for many more! After this orientation, you will know:

• the how-to’s of recording here in our studio 

• how to set-up and run one of our audio field kits

• best practices for capturing quality audio with our gear (or yours!)

• new folks in your community who are interested in podcasting
