70 million adult Americans have a criminal record. The new open-source podcast 70 Million asks, how did we get here and what do we do now? This season we’re finding answers at the local level, as we chronicle what communities are doing to stem the epidemic of over incarceration.

70 Million invites the Boston community to dive into these stories with a live listening party and discussion. Reporter Heidi Shin and Executive Producer Juleyka Lantigua-Williams will walk attendees through how the Boston-based episode was conceived and produced and dive into why they’re focusing on solutions journalism in audio form.
