Many podcasts hitting the airwaves today are in dire need of editing. A poorly edited production is fatiguing to listen to. You risk losing your listeners. A well-edited podcast fills your program with content, not filler. By sharpening your editing skills, you will learn where, when and how to cut.
Whether you are new to editing or have been editing all along, this workshop will cover many editing techniques. Through demonstrations on how to edit, we will discuss editing for clarity and content. We will learn to edit out mouth sounds and all the Um’s, Ah’s and false starts that interrupt a story. Audio in need of editing will be provided and each participant will have a chance to edit.
Please download and become somewhat comfortable working within a DAW prior to this workshop.
