Are you curious about podcasts? At Podcast Wine Down, you’ll listen to a series of audio clips from Racist Sandwich and join a discussion with Hosts Stephanie Kuo and Juan Diego Ramirez, and facilitator Se’era Ricks. Racist Sandwich serves up a perspective that you don’t hear often: that both food and the ways we consume, create, and interpret it can be political. From discussions about racism in food photography to interviews with chefs of color about their experiences in the restaurant world, this bi-weekly podcast pushes the boundaries of traditional food media with a healthy serving of side-eye.
It’s a Book Club for your ears! You’ll walk away with a deeper appreciation for audio storytelling and some practical approaches for creating your own podcast or audio project.
The gathering is free - grab your favorite beverage and snack and join us online. RSVP below - all are welcome! We will send you instructions on how to join us beforehand.
