Stop by the Garage to learn about KCRW's 24-Hour Radio Race!

The Radio Race is a whirlwind make-a-thon, where you’ll be given 24 hours to write, record, and edit a nonfiction radio story. This year's race is August 19 - 20. Whether you’re a seasoned news producer, a scrappy freelancer, an experimental sound artist, or just want to try radio for the first time, there’s room for you.

We're hosting a night at the PRX Podcast Garage to meet teammates and get info on the race. Myke Dodge Weiskopf from KCRW will join us via Skype to answer your questions and we’ll lead a fun team-building exercise for you to meet potential partners in radio-making!

The PRX Podcast Garage is also partnering up with the race this year. We’ll be open for the full 24 hours with snacks and studio space to support contenders.
