Local artist Linda Clave paints her canvases with what she hears. Her collection, Sound in Paint, Energy in Art is now the Garage's newest exhibition. Come join us in celebrating local art in all its forms, and tune in for a performance by musician Stephanie Woods, who will play the Himalayan Singing Bowls that inspired a much of Linda's collection.
About the Artist:
Linda Clave has been an artist from her first drawing of feathers on a chalk board at two. Her passion was accelerated with the skills that she developed during her BFA and MFA at BU CFA. But what can be called the chi or the innate spiritual essence in ancient artifacts gave her the inspiration that set her on her path ever since in her Life and in her Art. Her current series of paintings Sound in Paint celebrates the union of the two mighty forces of awakening sound and color. She is currently living in Brighton.
