A good audio story should transport listeners, and often that means using sound and writing to convincingly bring them to a place. Reporter Craig LeMoult of WGBH News will discuss how to record sound that will convey the scene, how to write a script that puts the listener in the middle of the action, and how to mix a story that brings it all together in a memorable way.
Craig LeMoult produces sound-rich features and breaking news coverage for WGBH News. He has won a number of awards for his reporting, including two 2015 national Edward R. Murrow Awards and a 2011 Sigma Delta Chi award from the national Society of Professional Journalists. He is a graduate of the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism and Tufts University.
